Timo Kokkila in English

I am a comics artist from Finland (that's the human shaped country in northern Europe). I was born in 1961 in Kuortane, but nowadays I live in Tampere at sixth floor with a wife, a daughter and a cat.

My first drawings were published in 1976. I have been a professional comics artist since 1989. Over 1000 pages of my comics have been published in more than 40 newspapers and magazines in Finland and other countries. I have also made illaustrations, written scripts for other artists and edited an amateur comics magazine in late 1980's.

Some samples of my comics:

Voitto Virtanen. A weekly half-page comic appeared between 1993-2000 in Finland's biggest sport-newspaper Veikkaaja. A collection of strips called "Voitto kotiin!" came out in 1998.

CD-rom "Minä Peräsmies" (I Phartman) published in 1998. Phartman is a Finnish super-hero, who has incredible fart-power. Check out the official Phartman CD-rom promo-page (Sorry, only in Finnish).
