About the Club

The Breed Club was established in 1975. Since 1977 the Club has organized one official Club Show yearly. The Judge has usually been invited from Great Britain. Usually there are from 50 to 70 dogs in the show. In addition to the official Club Show there is an unofficial Open Show and the Black & White Show for Scotties and Westies every year.

The Scottish Terrier Club of Finland is publishing "Skotti" magazine four times a year and in the year 2000 the Breed Club has celebrated the 25th anniversary by publishing the Book of Champions.

The Breed Club tries to develop breed knowledge by arranging special days for breeders, judges and others interested in Scottish Terriers. There are also trimming courses every year. Around 50 Scottish Terriers are registered every year in Finland.
