		Jerkster (bears a huge chakram in a stick)


Gabrielle inquires at the door: "May we come in and sing?"

After the audience has invited them in, all four step inside, line up 
and begin singing:

Good evening, good evening, 
to one and all.
To the Xenites and ...(pause)... and the Xenites,
to all who dwell in the house.
And we wish you all, and we wish you all
a good and happy Solstice.


Xena and Gabrielle face each other with their weapons raised so
that their tips are crossed and form as if a gate. Ares paces between 
them, separating the tips of their swords, while singing:

Ares, he drove 
his divine chariot.
Ares, he drove
his divine chariot.
Till he arrived
to the land of the Greek.
(Everyone:) 
Till he arrived
at Amphipolis.


Ares: "Ares, God of War am I!"

Xena: "Yea, seems to me thou art no god but a tyrant!"

Ares: "Yea, seems to me that I am no tyrant but the God of War, and I 
carry my boffer sword. Whoah, why art thou wearing black leather?"


Xena paces like Ares before, singing:

Whoah, if I am wearing black,
I'm regretting my past deeds.
Whoah, if I am wearing black, 
I'm ever beatiful and mysterious.
Just one Warrior Princess
from Amphipolis.
(Everyone:)
Just one Warrior Princess
from Amphipolis.


Ares: "Though thou mayest be a warrior and princess from Amphipolis, thou
shalt kneel before me and pray to me!


Xena: "Not I, but Jerkster!"

Ares (pointing his sword at Gabrielle): "Thou or the life of thy love!"


Xena kneels in front of Ares, who rests his sword on her shoulder. All
but Xena sing:

Look on, how the Warrior Princess
is made to pray to Ares
and fall on her knees before him!
and fall on her knees before him!


Xena stands up. The others continue:

Now ye have seen that Warrior Princess.
How she was made to pray to Ares
and fall on her knees before him.
and fall on her knees before him.


Everybody sings:

Angels brought the news to the warrior
That from her loins is born a savior so great.
Who'll take away the power of gods
but a long way ahead she's got.
From which the whole world greatly rejoiceth.


Jerkster runs to the front, and addresses Xena.

Jerkster: "Ye may to Thrace, or the Land of Greece, or the city of Mycene. 
Still thou shall not be safe from wrath of Zeus. Therefore by a road shall
you give birth, where Hercules paces guard, with rib bones of Chronos." 


Jerkster retuns to his place behind. Xena and Gabrielle sing:

A child is born to us, 
and a girl is given.
Within her I found life,
and the spirit of Callisto.
She is the dawn of the doom
that will save the world.
And due to her a victory 
soon becomes certain.
(Everyone:)

Jerkster leaps in the front, and sings:

Jerkster, he wanders
eastern lands,
western lands,
and he never needs a place to hide.
And Gabrielle is his
traveling companion,
traveling companion,
who writes poetry and fights with her little stick.
And we go to China, India, and Britannia.
And Britannia.

At the end, Gabrielle steps beside Jerkster, looking angry. On the last 
word, Jerkster cries in pain as she twists his nose.


Xena: "Whoah! I'm all fed up with all this worshipping of gods. Gabrielle, 
my servant!"

Gabrille: "Yea, no way I'm your servant, but let's hear what you have to
say, anyhow."

Xena: "Have you seen any cruel gods lately?"

Gabrielle: "Yea, I have seen those cruel gods who constantly are 
like conniving thieves and unjust rulers, harrassing people, 
and threatening our and our baby's lives."

Xena: "I regret that very much, and it pains my heart to think that those 
cruel gods constantly are like conniving thieves and unjust rulers.
Go and saddle my cream coloured mare with whom I have fought against
Turkey and Rome, for I intend to fight against those deceitful gods.
Let us go to Mount Olympus in the Land of Greece, and kill and cast into
fiery pits all the gods who are 2000 years old or older."


Gabrielle paces through Ares and Xena's gate, singing:

I'm your supporter in this war,
and your most faithful friend.
And though I was crowned for an Amazon,
I'm still a pacifist forever.
For the greater good!
This is what I have been taught.
To have fear at the gods,
and listen to Warrior Princess.
and listen to Warrior Princess.

Gabrielle (whispering to the audience): "Well, I won't believe her all 
the time."


Xena: "Now I have been to Mount Olympus in the land of Greece, and have
killed and cast into fiery pits all gods who were 2000 years old or older.
What do you have to say about that?"

Ares: "Because thou hast been so brave, that thou hast killed my kin, and
taken my divine powers from me, I wish to go on with my life, sowing on
dirt, and raising cattle."


Everyone line up and sing:

Since a sin so great and sad 
shattered the heavens,
the God of War had to 
descend to the earth.

But the Goddess of Love,
the lovely Aphrodite,
showed us how rejoicing
is brought to the whole world.

Gabrielle: "We have not come to sing in your house with cunning or
wrong-doing, but through your own benevolence. We are poor bards, and
ask for clapping of hands.

Jerkster: "And photos in the 'net."


The audience applauds.


Everyone sings:

Thank ye, thank ye, 
for your applauds.
You should become known
