Kuvassa on alue, jossa on suuri määr tähtisumuja.
Huomattavin on keskellä kuvaa oleva oranssin värinen sumu. Sitä
rajoittaa näköjään yläreunan
puolelta pimeä tähtisumu, jonka voi todeta siitä, että
suuressa osassa kuvaa on linnunradan
takia erittäin tiheässä tähtiä,
mutta pimeän sumun kohdalla näkyvät vain ne, jotka ovat
sumun etupuolella. Kuvasta löytyy
lukuisia sumuja.
Valitettavasti suoraan tähtikartasta en pystynyt
nimeämään sumuja. Ne tulisi tuntea muodon perusteella.
Olisi mukava, jos joku voisi nimetä edes joitakin
sumuista ja ehkä kertoa niistä jotain.
The picture is of an area, where there is
a great number of nebulas. The most noticeable is the bright
orange one in the
middle of the picture. It seems to be limited at the upper part by a dark
nebula. You can
identify that from the
fact that in the most of the picture the star density is very high because
of the milky
way, but at the area of a
dark nebula only those stars are visible, which are in front of the nebula.
There
is a great number of nebulas in the
picture.
It would be nice if someone could name at least a
few of the nebulas and perhaps tell something about them.
