v F-14 crewman Lt Devon Jones rescued in Iraq after long SAR mission
v VS-24 S-3B "Viking" ASW aircraft became the first anti-sub aircraft in
history to undertake a land attack mission by delivering 6 x MK-82's per
aircraft on an Iraqi AAA site in Southern Iraq. VS-24 is part of CVW-8 aboard
the USS Theodore Roosevelt serving in the Red Sea
v 4 x A-6's attack and disable an Iraqi T-43 minelaying ship, another chased off
