F-117 HIGHLIGHTS (19Feb/Day 34):

v Day 34/Wave Three: 5 x F-117's from the 416th TFS

5 x F-117's from the 415th TFS

- takeoff during the p.m. of Day 33/18th to hit targets on Day 34/19th

- Scored 14 hits with 19 PGM attempts (74%)

- Al Asad Airfield Complex

- An unidentified tunnel at Al Qaim

v Day 35/Wave One: 8 x F-117's from the 416th TFS

8 x F-117's from the 415th TFS

- takeoff during the p.m. of Day 34/19th to hit targets on Day 35/20th

- Scored 28 direct hits with 30 PGM attempts (93%)

- Bagdad Nuclear Research Facility

- Karbala Ammumition Storage Facility & Factory

- Latifiya's Solid Propellant SCUD Rocket Motor Plant

- A Suspected Biological Warfare Facility at Latifiya

KILLS: None Recorded
LOSSES:

v 1 x OA-10A FAC Aircraft from the 602nd Tactical Air Support Squadron

from Davis Monthan AFB, Ariz.

- LtCol Jeffrey D. Fox (40) from Fall River, Mass

- 76-0543, 23rd TASS / 602nd TACW, became 23rd US Combat Loss

- Callsign "NAIL 53"

- shot down by a SAM, and injured during ejection, became POW

- was in radio contact with other A-10's when Iraqi's saw him

- no data on whether or not he was captured

SCUDS:

v 36th SCUD fired at Israel, no effect
