Roosa

Roosa, Artdoc Ambrosia, was a very active deerhound puppy. These pictures which date from June 1998. Newer pictures will be put here when they become available.

Roosa is one of those deerhounds who seem to be wearing perfume when they are happy. The scent is not very strong yet but it usually strengthens as the dog grows older. Funnily, the perfumed area seems to be her belly.

Roosa meets Wilbur the Cat. She has never figured out what cats are but has found out that they do not always want to play. On occasion Wilbur has been seen boxing with her, claws retracted... left hook, right hook, left hook... but so far Roosa has been unable to understand what the cat means by such behavior. Luckily Wilbur has never met a dog he did not like.

Roosa's favorite hobby is dashing from one place to another seemingly without any advance planning or understanding of the concept of slowing down at corners. An active puppy even by deerhound standards, she busies herself at home with numerous projects including but not limited to items she is allowed to chew...

Roosa is the puppy of Kilbourne Apollo and INT & NORD CH, KBHV-96 Clovaird Hortensia Artdoc. The breeder is Britt Schone Brodwall of Norway. Roosa has nine brothers and sisters, is owned by Hilma and Salla Klemetti and lives in Kajaani, in northern Finland.
