No Speed Limits !

It was one of the windiest days of the year. Trees were being uprooted and roofs torn away all over Finland. But there we were - Hannu Purhonen, the three Deerhounds in his care, Club Secretary Salla Klemetti's Whippet and I - on the beach. We humans had trouble standing in the wind, but the dogs did not mind...

Here they are, clockwise starting from the Whippet: Hippu (Woodbrook's All You Need), Milla (FIN & EST CH Kilbrandon Camilla), Rietta (FIN CH & KVA-m SMM-92 -93 -94 Sweetscot Dal Riata) and Chic Aristocrat's Benjamin.

And here they go... Dashing after one of the Deerhounds, Hippu puts on her best Blood-Thirsty Killer Whippet act.

Led by Riatta, the Deerhounds zoom up and down the sand dunes. While a Sight Hound considers any excuse for a sprint good enough, nothing beats having a couple of other dogs to run with.
