Hello. I have visited your site as part of my "Run Across the Internet". I am attempting to visit 10,000 sites in 100 days in order to raise awareness of Ankylosing Spondylitis, a chronic degenerative rheumatic disease that affects the spine and neck, often making the joints and vertebrae stiffen and fuse together.
People with AS often have chronic pain and gradually lose flexibility and range of motion in their joints until they can not turn their heads or bend their backs. It's like being in a straitjacket for the entire rest of your life.
To learn more, please visit my two favorite sites:
The Spondylitis Association of America (SAA): http://www.StopAS.org
and the AS online Support Group, Spondyville: http://www.spondyville.com
Your pal,

The email address I left here several months ago is being used by spammers. This is the only place I have ever left this address. Bummer that even this kind of innocuous activity gets turned into an annoyance. I don't think you did it... most likely someone is scanning the net, just looking for email addresses. I wish there was some way to retaliate.

My brother is getting married on October 6, 2001. He and his fiance want to tie the knot at sunset but aren't sure of the exact time. Thanks to your site, they now have the exact time (17:46). Now that they have the exact time, what can you do about the weather? ... thanks

Thank you for your helpful website. I am a fourth grader in Bad Nauheim American Elemtary School. I used your daylength calculator to help with a math report of graphs.

Very Nice!!!
I was trying to compute the optimum angles needed for a solar collector from memory when I found your site. So glad I did! Now I can compute Winter versus Summer solstice angles AND wattage! How cool (hot?) is that. Thanks Muchly.

Here is the C-source
of another sunrise/sunset calculator:
http://www.phoebe.co.uk/stuff/cgi/sunshine.c by MacCoy.
It may be compiled without changes in Linux with gcc -lm sunshine.c
See it running on my site:

Thanks for the great tool. No scientific need here, but soccer practice will not end in the dark any more. I was wondering why the time between sunset and the end of civil twilight can vary by as much a 2 minutes, just 25 days apart? If you don't have time, or the answer is not quick, maybe you can just point me in the right direction. Thanks again... nicely done! Mark

I liked your Excel sunrise/sunset calculator. I'm trying to graph the increase in sunlight over the course of a year. Do you know of anyone who has already done this? If not, do you have any suggestions on how to adapt your program? Thanks, Steve
